Share a result with any doctor using a link and an access code, add and edit clients from the portal, and a busy month for integrations, including managing webhooks and Medicare provider records over the API, a collection centre directory, and a developer MCP server.

The headline this month is shareable result links: a patient can now show
their results to any doctor, whether or not that doctor has ever heard of us.

Share a result with any doctor, by link

Sharing a result used to require the recipient to already be an organisation on
the platform. That works for a clinic you found through us, and not at all for
the GP you have seen for fifteen years.

From Shared results, Share now offers two paths: share with a clinic
(the existing flow, unchanged) or create a link. A link gives the recipient
a clean, read-only page with no account and no sign-up.

Pick exactly what to share, biomarker by biomarker.

A link plus a 6-character access code, so the two can travel separately.

Any expiry from 1 to 30 days. There is no "forever" option.

Revoke whenever you like, including for someone who has the page open.

Decide what identifies you. Name, date of birth and sex are three separate
choices.

Email it, with the access code included only if you tick the box.

Your Shared results page keeps the history: every link, its access code, who
it was emailed to, and every attempt to open it. If somebody guesses repeatedly
at a code, the link locks itself and then disables itself permanently, and we
email you when it happens.

Deleting a result you uploaded also kills any links to it.

Add and edit clients

You can now add a client and correct their details from the Clients
section, instead of waiting for them to arrive through an order. Both sit behind
the existing Edit clients permission, which you manage through
Roles & Permissions.

For developers

A busy month for integrations. The full detail, field by field, is in the
API changelog.

Manage webhooks over the API

You can now create, list, update and delete webhooks with
/v1/webhooks
,
and list the events you can subscribe to with
GET /v1/webhook-events
, so an
integration no longer needs someone to set its webhooks up in the portal. Webhooks
created either way are the same webhooks. Saving one is also checked now, in the
portal and over the API: the URL must use
https
and must not point at a private
address, and an event can be sent to a given URL by only one of your webhooks, so
nothing is delivered twice. And when a webhook is created, re-pointed or deleted
over the API, your owners and webhook managers get an email saying so. See
Webhooks.

Medicare provider records over the API

Register a doctor's provider number, referral details and signature against your
organisation with
/v1/providers
, without the doctor needing an account with us,
and request that their results route back to you. Records created this way show
up in Settings > Result routing alongside your practitioners' own. See
Providers.

A directory of collection centres

GET /v1/collection-centres
returns about 5,900 collection centres across
Australia, with opening hours, so you can show a patient where to go once a
referral is ordered. Search near a location or within a map viewport, and
subscribe to
collection_centres.updated
to hear when the list changes. See
Collection Centres.

More on every test

GET /v1/tests
now says which tests can be ordered under Medicare
(
medicareListed
), can include the biomarkers each test is expected to report,
and carries the price in cents (
priceCents
) so you are not doing arithmetic on
dollars.

Developer MCP server

There is now a developer MCP server at
https://mcp.eirly.health/dev/v1
. Point your AI
coding assistant at it and it answers from our real API contract: endpoints,
request and response shapes, error codes and webhook events. It holds no patient
or customer data. See MCP to connect one.

Also for integrations

referral.issued
arrives immediately, rather than up to a minute after the
referral is issued.

Paging works the same on every list endpoint, and a bad paging parameter
now tells you what is wrong. See Pagination.

Pathology provider ids use one spelling everywhere, for example

douglass-hanly-moir
, including on results.

The Swagger documentation now lets you pick the API version to try, and
describes what each endpoint actually returns.

Coming soon

Ordering for your clients. An Orders section for building an order on
behalf of a client and tracking it through to results, with favourites for the

The assistant can now link you to the documentation when it answers, and
its panel can be resized by dragging the divider.

An Administrator can no longer remove, demote or grant Owner.

The Shared with me page has moved onto the same list framework as the
rest of the portal, with the same search, filtering and sorting.

The API now refuses an ambiguous client identifier rather than guessing
which client you meant.

When a webhook can't be saved, the portal now says why (for example, that
the URL must use
https
) instead of a generic error.

Buying a test with an email address that already has an account no longer
changes that account's details.

A few API referral lookups that could fail on older records now return them.

Patients can now share a result directly with an organisation, with an
expiry they choose and the ability to revoke it at any time. Alongside that,
August was a month of making the things you use every day faster and more
consistent: the portal's lists and tables have been rebuilt on a common
foundation, and Settings gained visibility into payouts and your integration
traffic.

Patient-initiated result sharing

A patient can now share one of their own results with an organisation, from
their Shared results page. It works the same way for results from an order
and for results they uploaded themselves.

Pick the organisation by email. Enter the organisation's email address and
we resolve it to the organisation, then show you who you're about to share
with so you can confirm before anything is disclosed.

Set how long it lasts. Choose an expiry date, or a duration, at the time
of sharing.

Revoke at any time. The Shared results page lists everything currently
shared and who it's shared with, and access ends the moment it's revoked.

On the organisation side, shared results arrive in a dedicated Shared with me
section — deliberately separate from the results your organisation ordered, so
the two are never confused. Access is governed by its own View shared
results capability, which you grant through
Roles & Permissions. A member can be
allowed to see the results you ordered without seeing patient-shared ones, or
the other way around.

This is rolling out progressively.

A refreshed portal

Results, Referrals, Clients, Test Bundles, Catalogue, Members, Optimal Ranges,
Invoices and Settings have all moved onto the same page and table framework.
In practice that means:

Consistent filtering, sorting and paging on every list, instead of each
page behaving slightly differently.

Search on referrals, so you can find one without paging through the list.

A shared page header and tabs across every section, so navigation sits in
the same place wherever you are.

Standardised status badges and notifications, so a status means the same
thing and looks the same on every screen.

We also fixed page ordering on the Invoices table when changing page size, and
tightened up sidebar spacing across the portal.

Payouts, webhooks and API activity in Settings

Settings now includes three new views:

Payouts — what has been paid out to your organisation, and when.

Webhooks Log — the webhook deliveries we've attempted, so you can see
what your endpoint received without asking us.

API Log — recent API calls made with your organisation's credentials.

Invoices also now show your full invoice history along with the date each
invoice was paid, rather than only the most recent stretch.

Preferred Partner pricing now reaches your buy pages

If your organisation is on a Preferred Partner discount, that discount appeared
on every internal price surface — but not on your public buy pages, in either
the displayed price or the amount charged. It does now, and the amount matches
what you're invoiced elsewhere.

Where a discounted price can't be confirmed, the page falls back to list price
rather than showing a stale one. A customer can only ever miss a discount they
were owed; they can never be charged more than the price shown.

Delete a result you uploaded yourself

If you've uploaded your own results and picked the wrong file, you can now
delete it yourself. Previously this needed a support request.

Deleting removes the result from your record along with the upload it came
from, and withdraws any access you had granted to it at the same moment.
It only applies to results you uploaded — results from an order stay part
of your record.

Semen analysis orders now carry the collection letter

Orders that include a semen analysis now have the phlebotomist letter
attached to the order-ready email, alongside the usual information sheet.
Previously it had to be sent separately.

For assistant and MCP integrations

The Eirly MCP server gained three tools:

get_referral_document
— the pathology form for a pending referral.

get_result_document
— the report for a completed result.

get_my_profile
— the profile details of the signed-in person.

The assistant can also now see which tests a referral covers, the
biomarkers expected from them, and which tests are complete versus still
pending — so questions like "what am I still waiting on?" get a real answer.

Smaller fixes

Invitation screens now show the real name of the role you've been invited
into, rather than a placeholder.

The Resend verification email action is back on the referrals list.

An expired or already-used verification link now shows a clear message
instead of spinning indefinitely.

Webflow stores can save their settings again.

When a doctor orders under their own provider number, the collecting laboratory
sends results to whatever destination that provider number is registered
against — which historically wasn't us. That meant Medicare results didn't
reliably come back into Eirly.

Settings → Result routing fixes that. Notify each pathology laboratory once
that a practitioner is now ordering through Eirly, and their
Medicare results route back into the right organisation from then on.

A live status board. See each laboratory's state — not set up, awaiting
confirmation, connected, or needs attention — for every provider number in
your organisation.

Your details, disclosed only with your consent. Notifying a laboratory
discloses the practitioner's own details, so it has to come from their
account. Owners and administrators can see the board, but can't notify on
someone else's behalf.

Stop any time, per laboratory. Ask us to stop routing at a single lab
without affecting the others. We confirm with the lab and record their reply
before marking it stopped.

Advisory, never blocking. Routing is never a prerequisite for ordering.
Place the order whenever you like; we simply tell you whether the results
will find their way back automatically, and from which labs.

Who may order under a provider number is now something you grant explicitly.
Create a role with the Order with Medicare provider number capability and
assign it to the doctors who should have it — on its own, or alongside their
existing role.

It's deliberately excluded from Admin: administrators manage the practice
address and every practitioner's provider details, while only the ordering
doctor can apply their own signature and place orders under their number. See
Roles & Permissions.

POST /v1/referrals
takes
medicareTests
— the tests to order under
Medicare using the practitioner's provider number — and produces a separate
Medicare referral alongside any commercial one. Every referral response carries
a
medicare
boolean saying which it is.

The naming is deliberate: ordering a test under Medicare is something we
control; whether the patient ultimately pays nothing is decided by the
collecting laboratory and the patient's Medicare eligibility, and a gap or full
fee may still apply. Don't present these tests to your customers as guaranteed
to be free.

Medicare referrals created through the API also return a new
routingMessage

— a plain-language summary of whether, and from which labs, that practitioner's
results will route back automatically. It's advisory only and never blocks the
order.

Until now, membership was close to all-or-nothing. Organisations told us that
didn't match how their teams actually work: a bookkeeper shouldn't need access
to clinical results, and a support person shouldn't be able to rotate API keys.

Access is now governed by roles — named bundles of individual
capabilities like View results, Manage API keys or Invite members.

What you get out of the box

Every organisation now has these roles, ready to assign:

Owner — full access, always.

Admin — day-to-day administration.

Support — referrals, results and clients; no billing, API or settings.

Read-only — view referrals, results and clients, and nothing else.

All except Owner are editable, so they're starting points rather than
constraints.

One capability is deliberately not in any of them: Order with Medicare
provider number. Ordering under a doctor's own provider number is opt-in, so
you grant it explicitly by creating a role with that capability and assigning
it — rather than it arriving with an administrative role.

Build your own

If none of them fit, create a role in Settings → Roles and tick exactly the
capabilities it should have. Custom roles are private to your organisation, and
editing one takes effect immediately for everyone who holds it.

Three things worth knowing

Members can hold several roles at once, and the result is the union of
them. Compose access instead of creating a role for every combination — a
doctor can hold Support and a Medicare ordering role.

View and manage are separate capabilities almost everywhere. A bookkeeper
can read invoices without being able to change payment methods.

Invitations carry roles. Choose the roles when you invite someone and
they sign in with the right access immediately — no second step.

Nothing changed for your existing members

Existing members keep the access they had. The new roles were added alongside
what your organisation already had, and no one lost a permission in the
transition. Owners remain owners.

base Member role works — see

Since June, Medicare ordering has been rolling out in

On the platform and via the API. Order Medicare tests through the bundle
creator, or via
POST /v1/referrals
on API v1.1.0+ under a registered
provider number.

Nothing changes about how it works. The billing-mode toggle, mixed
commercial + Medicare orders, per-organisation signatures, and hidden pricing
in Medicare mode all behave exactly as before — they're simply available in
production now.

Eirly Health platform. Here's what's changed and what it means for you.

A dedicated home for your personal health results

We've separated the practitioner/clinic experience from the personal health
experience into two purpose-built apps:

https://app.eirly.health
— the workspace for practitioners and organisations: ordering
tests, managing clients, team settings, and admin tools.

https://my.eirly.health
— your personal health hub: your results, your tests, and your
account, with nothing else in the way.

What this means for you

A cleaner, simpler experience. If you're a patient or consumer, your hub
shows only what's relevant to you — your results and your tests — without
clinic-management menus.

Move between the two seamlessly. If you're a practitioner who also has
personal results, a new "My health hub" button lets you jump from the
practitioner app straight into your personal hub without logging in again.

Same login, same data. Both apps share the same secure account and the
same underlying records. Nothing about your data changes — only where you
view it.

Also new in this release

Bring Your Own lab results. You can now import lab results from elsewhere
into your hub, so all your health data lives in one place.

Smarter address capture. Account setup, settings, and checkout now capture
your full address (including state and postcode) with type-ahead suggestions,
reducing errors on your referrals.

Medicare ordering, end to end. When creating a test order, you can switch
between Commercial and Medicare billing, choose the
eligible tests, and we generate a proper Medicare-compliant pathology referral
for you.

Mixed orders are handled automatically. If an order contains both commercial
and Medicare tests, we split it into the right referrals behind the scenes and
send them together in a single email — nothing extra for you to do.

Manage provider details once. A new Medicare settings area lets your
organisation store each practitioner's provider number and a default practice
address, so they're filled in correctly on every referral. Provider numbers are
validated as you enter them.

Capture your signature securely. Each practitioner adds their signature
directly in the app — drawn once and stored against your organisation — and it's
applied automatically to every Medicare referral. A provider number can only be
used to order once its signature is on file.

Prices step out of the way. When you're ordering in Medicare mode, pricing is
hidden — because Medicare tests carry no direct cost to you.

responsive design that works across devices and supports dark mode.

Consistent branding. Emails sent on behalf of a clinic or organisation now
carry that organisation's branding correctly and consistently.

More reliable delivery. Emails are now sent through a dedicated delivery
pipeline. If something goes wrong with an email, it no longer affects your
order, your results, or any other action — and failed sends are automatically
retried.

Every change is recorded. When a referral or profile detail is amended, we
now keep a secure, time-stamped record of what changed and who made the change.

Stronger data integrity. A change is only saved if its history record is
saved too — so the trail is always complete and trustworthy.

Privacy-first. Personal health information in these history records stays
encrypted, and the history is only accessible to authorised administrators.

This strengthens our compliance posture and means we can always answer
"what changed, and when?" for the records we hold on your behalf.
